Everything you need to know before saying yes to Happie Together Festival.
From logistic to consent – we’ve gathered your answers here.
Location & Arrival
Where does the Happie Together Festival take place?
Happie Together takes place on a private nature-based location in Belgium. The exact location will be shared by email after registration. We do this intentionally to keep the field protected and intimate.
When can I arrive and when do I leave?
Arrival is possible from Thursday, May 21 at 3:00 PM. The program starts later that afternoon. Departure is no later than Monday, May 25 at 11:00 AM.
Can I arrive later or leave earlier?
We invite you to be present for the entire weekend. The program is designed as one continuous ceremonial journey. Arriving late or leaving early is only possible in exceptional cases and by prior agreement.
Program & Intensity
Is this a sex festival?
No. Happie Together is a ceremonial festival where tantra, bodywork, kink, and ritual are used as gateways to awareness, healing, and authentic connection. Everything happens based on consent and personal choice. Tantra is a tradition in which blockages are explored and released. Sexual energy and sexuality are part of this, because we often experience blockages there.
Nothing is mandatory.
Do I need experience with tantra or kink?
No experience is required. We do ask for body awareness, personal responsibility, and a willingness for self-reflection.
Can I participate without physical touch?
Yes. You always decide what you do and do not engage in. A “no” is just as welcome here as a “yes.”
Do I have to participate in anything that makes me uncomfortable?
One important pillar at Happie Beach and Heart Core Connecting is consent!
Toward yourself and toward others. Your “no” is completely welcome, and if something doesn’t feel right, you don’t participate.
This safety also creates space to explore your own boundaries and desires.
Do I need experience with tantra or kink?
No, all levels are welcome. We have deliberately chosen a variety of teachers, so there is something for everyone.
Is there nudity or sensuality?
This may arise in a workshop or temple setting. Consent also applies here. You do what feels good to you and what you are comfortable with. Naturism and open sexuality are permitted on the grounds.
Can I relax in between?
We offer plenty of time between workshops for integration and relaxation. With comfortable seating areas, a jacuzzi, and a sauna, there are many places to unwind.
If you are touched by shadow aspects during the workshops, there are space holders and facilitators you can turn to.
How large is the group?
The group size is tailored to the work taking place and is therefore intimate enough that everyone feels they have space to engage.
How does the workshop program work?
Each morning and afternoon, we offer a workshop program with different workshops running at the same time. You are free to choose which workshop feels most aligned for you in that moment. Participation is always by choice, and you’re welcome to follow your own rhythm throughout the day.

Accommodation & Camping
Where will I sleep during the festival?
You will stay at a nearby camping site. A camping spot is included in your ticket. You bring your own tent, sleeping gear, and personal items.
What if I don’t want to set up a tent or don’t have one?
You can book a fully set-up tent. Upon arrival, your tent will be ready for you.
The furnished tent includes: pre-pitched tent, mattresses, sleeping space for two people. Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.
This option is limited in availability and only bookable in combination with a festival ticket.
Is there a shuttle service between the camping and the festival site?
Yes, a shuttle runs between the camping and the festival site at fixed times. Exact times will be shared in advance.
Can I come with a camper van or caravan?
This depends on the camping facilities. Please contact us in advance so we can check what is possible.
Why sleep in a tent?
The festival truly brings you back to yourself and helps you peel away layers. A basic sleeping place in nature is very supportive in this.
We know how much added value this can have and strongly recommend it.
If you really want to attend the festival but truly dread sleeping in a tent, please contact us. We can then think along with you.
What if we come with a poly ticket?
Poly tickets include one camping spot.
If your group needs additional space, you can book an Extra Camping Spot (Poly Ticket) as an add-on.
Lockers & Personal Belonings
Are lockers available?
Yes, there are lockable lockers on site for valuable items. We recommend bringing as few valuables as possible.
Is the site secured?
The site is private and only accessible to participants, crew, and volunteers. Together we create a safe and respectful environment.
Food & Drinks
Is food included?
Yes. All meals are included in your ticket:
- 3 breakfasts
- 3 lunches
- 2 dinners
Throughout the day there will also be tea, fruit, and small snacks.
What kind of food will be served?
The meals are nourishing, conscious, and lovingly prepared. We mainly serve vegetarian food.
Can dietary requirements or allergies be accommodated?
Yes. You can indicate dietary needs and allergies during registration. We will do our best to accommodate them carefully.
Balance of Genders
Is there a balance between men and women?
Yes. We actively maintain a balanced representation of different genders. This may mean working with waiting lists once a specific group is full.
Are couples and single participants welcome?
Yes. Both couples and solo participants are equally welcome and valued in the field. There is no hierarchy between relationship forms.
All workshops are suitable for singles. The Sunday ceremony of saying a full YES to each other can also be done as a single person.
After this deep weekend, during which layers are shed, you say YES to yourself.
I’m single—won’t I feel like an outsider?
This festival is about connection and bonding with each other and with yourself. As a single person, you will naturally be included.
If you’re not sure how to position yourself, seek contact with the teachers or the volunteers. They all have experience attending festivals or workshops on their own and can help guide you to make it a special festival for you.
Facilities
Are there showers and toilets?
Yes. There are sufficient eco-toilets and showers on the festival site as well as on the camping grounds.
Is there a sauna or jacuzzi?
Yes. A sauna and jacuzzi are available on site, with clear agreements around usage and consent.
Transport & Travel
Can I come by public transport?
Yes. The location is accessible by public transport in combination with a shuttle service or carpooling. Exact instructions will be shared after registration.
Is carpooling possible?
Yes. We encourage carpooling and can help connect participants in advance if desired.
Safety, Consent & Holding the Field
How is safety ensured?
Safety, consent, and clear communication form the foundation of the entire weekend. There is a clear framework, an attentive team, and shared agreements that everyone commits to.
What if I feel uncomfortable at any point?
You can always reach out to one of the facilitators or designated support persons. We take this seriously and care for the field together.
Other
Is alcohol or drug use allowed?
No. Happie Together is a sober event. We work with presence, awareness, and embodied experience.
The festival is completely free of substances such as alcohol and drugs.
Connection and bonding arise when you are able to check in with yourself.
Knowing where your boundaries are, and those of others.
The use of alcohol and drugs blurs this. Bringing your own substances is also not allowed.
Can I take photos or videos?
No. To protect privacy and safety, taking photos or videos is not allowed, except by the official team.
What if I’m unsure whether this is for me?
Doubt is welcome. Feel whether your yes comes from your body rather than from pressure. If you have questions, feel free to contact us.
What if the weather is bad?
We are good at planning our festivals and rarely have bad weather. That said, we do live in Belgium.
In case of bad weather, there are plenty of options on the grounds to stay dry. Bring a set of dry clothes for each day.
If it gets cold at night, woollen clothing and sheepskins are a very good way to stay warm.
